The event takes place from November 30 to December 14, 2025. When visiting the exhibition, the public will be able to admire 31 paintings and sculptures, created by curator Vu Huy Thong, with art consultant sculptor Dao Chau Hai.

Born in Hanoi and working in Ho Chi Minh City, Dinh Phong came to fine arts through self-study. It was only in the last 5 years that he really devoted himself to creation. Before this exhibition, he participated in a group exhibition at the Vietnam University of Fine Arts and held three solo exhibitions in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum.

According to curator Vu Huy Thong, Dinh Phong’s works are surprising because they almost do not follow the familiar logic of creating shapes. The artist goes by instinct and intuition, breaking conventions to find his own language. At the exhibition, metal materials such as iron, steel, stainless steel, corrugated iron, etc. are processed by cutting, grinding, bending, and oxidizing, creating a soft and expressive effect.

Artist Thanh Chuong expressed his interest in the new ways of handling materials. For Dinh Phong, the exhibition is the result of a journey to escape creative deadlock when he found inspiration from metal - a material that he considers a "lifesaver". However, the artist admits that this is hard work, requiring endurance and high concentration.

The exhibition offers a new perspective on the creative journey of the self-taught artist, adding a unique voice to contemporary Vietnamese fine arts.
