38 individuals and groups received awards from the Contest to learn about An Giang homeland.

The entries not only demonstrate extensive knowledge of the history - geography - culture of An Giang but also contain sincere feelings, pride and respect for the traditions and people here.

On the morning of October 16, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of An Giang province held a closing ceremony and awarded prizes for the contest to learn about An Giang homeland with the theme "95 years of wholeheartedly following the Party, 50 years of building a rich and strong homeland" in 2025.

The contest was launched in March 2025, attracting 20,329 entries with the desire to arouse pride in the history, culture, people and development achievements of An Giang province - a land rich in revolutionary traditions, cultural diversity and full of development potential.

In her closing remarks, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Trang, Director of An Giang Provincial Library, said that many of the entries submitted to the organizing committee were carefully prepared in both content and presentation. Contestants demonstrated their understanding of their homeland's history, sense of responsibility and deep national pride. The entries not only demonstrated extensive knowledge of the history - geography - culture of An Giang but also contained sincere feelings, pride and respect for the traditions and people of this place.

In particular, some entries stood out with their creative approach, incorporating valuable documents, using vivid illustrations and expressing sincere emotions about the land and people of An Giang.

At the ceremony, the organizing committee announced and awarded 34 individual prizes and 4 collective prizes for high achievements in the competition. In which, the first individual prize belonged to Mr. Nguyen Van Tu (teacher of Vo Thi Sau High School, Chau Doc Ward); the joint first collective prize went to the Military Command of An Giang Province and Thoai Ngoc Hau High School for the Gifted (Long Xuyen Ward).
