5 students accepted to intern at 5-star American hotel, salary 2,000 USD/month

Today, November 9, the 5-star Grand Hyatt Hotel (USA) announced that 5 students of the Hoa Sen Elite program of Hoa Sen University who were interviewed directly at the school yesterday (November 8) were accepted to intern at this hotel for 1 year, with a salary of 2,000 USD/month.

According to Associate Professor Dr. Vo Thi Ngoc Thuy, Principal of Hoa Sen University, the leaders of this hotel, including the General Director, Human Resources Director and Business Development Director, had a direct interview with 5 students majoring in hotel management and restaurant and food service management, including Quach Thanh Dat, Luu Le Minh Man, Ha Hoang Phi, Nguyen Thanh Truc and Nguyen Thi Thao Van.

As one of the five selected students, Ha Hoang Phi, a fourth-year student majoring in hotel management, said: “I applied for the First Office position at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. At first, I was quite nervous, but I had previously applied at several large hotels in Ho Chi Minh City, and with the knowledge I had, I performed quite well in my interview.”

Mr. Marc Sternagel, General Manager of Grand Hyatt Nashville, said that with what the students showed in the interview, this hotel will not need to teach professional knowledge to the students, but will only give them additional instructions on how to handle daily situations, behave with superiors, how to manage people...

It is known that according to plan, 5 students will officially go to the US for internship in March 2024.
