Specifically, according to reports from localities as of June 12, the province has built 2,191/2,212 houses for people with meritorious services, poor and near-poor households, and households affected by Agent Orange/dioxin. Of the total 2,191 houses that have started construction (reaching 99% of the plan), 1,404 are newly built; 787 houses have been renovated and repaired. The total number of completed houses is 2,062, of which 1,317 are newly built; 745 houses have been renovated and repaired.
The program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses is being implemented with a spirit of urgency - determination - transparency - responsibility, closely following the principle of "6 clear" (clear people, clear work, clear responsibility, clear authority, clear time, clear results). Currently, the Prime Minister and the Central Steering Committee have clearly requested that provinces and cities need to focus all their efforts, be more determined, and be more rapid in the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the area. In particular, in Official Dispatch 84/CD-TTg, the Prime Minister requested that for the houses that have started construction, localities need to urge and mobilize all supporting forces to complete them immediately; for the remaining houses that have not started construction, localities are responsible for directing the simultaneous commencement of construction before June 20, 2025 to ensure meeting the general schedule.
