BTO-On the morning of April 26, Binh Thuan Women's Union organized a performance of Ao Dai and folk dance at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square (Phan Thiet City) with the participation of 600 officials, members and women.

The Ao Dai - Folk Dance performance program mobilized the largest number of members and women ever from folk dance groups and teams of 10 districts, towns, cities, the Women's Union of the Armed Forces in the province, the New Generation Women's Club, the Ao Dai Heritage Club and members and youth of Phan Thiet University... This program is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Binh Thuan province (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) launched by the Provincial Women's Union.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, delegates enjoyed the Ao Dai performance, affirming the pride in the traditional costumes of Vietnamese women. This was followed by a unique and colorful folk dance performance with flowing Ao Dai, to the music of the songs “The Country is Full of Joy”, “Spring in Ho Chi Minh City”, “The Saigon Girl Carrying Ammunition” and “The Song of Building a New Rural Area”. The melodies expressed the historical imprint from the period of resistance against the US with the image of Vietnamese women who are patient, hard-working but full of ideals and ambitions.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Le Thi Hai Yen - President of the Provincial Women's Union, said: The program creates a useful playground, creates exchanges, solidarity, and attachment, and is also an opportunity for members and women to promote their roles and responsibilities in building, nurturing, and preserving the good values of Vietnamese families. At the same time, it aims to convey the message of preserving, conserving, and promoting the traditional cultural values of Vietnamese Ao Dai. Enhance the responsibility of members and women in participating in the construction of new rural areas, contributing to building the image of Binh Thuan women in the new era with knowledge, morality, health, and responsibility for themselves, their families, society, and the country.
