The program to promote and introduce OCOP products and regional specialties produced and traded by Hanoi women had the participation of 64 booths.
On November 22, the Center for Vocational Education and Support for Women's Development in Hanoi in collaboration with the Women's Union of Ha Dong district opened the program of Communication on Innovative Start-ups and Promotion of OCOP products, regional specialties of women in the capital. The program had the participation of 64 booths, with hundreds of regional agricultural products, traditional craft village products that have been quality controlled, and have clear origins. The program of Communication on Innovative Start-ups and Promotion of OCOP products, regional specialties of women in the capital took place from November 22 to 24, at the football field of Duong Noi ward, Ha Dong district. Vice President of the Women's Union of Hanoi city Pham Thi My Hoa said that the program will create opportunities for enterprises, cooperatives, production and business establishments to introduce thousands of safe products, OCOP products, and craft village products to consumers in the capital. "For the program to be practically effective, I hope the Women's Union of Ha Dong district will promote it so that women and people in the area can visit and shop, encouraging women to start businesses in the capital to confidently develop the economy and at the same time contribute to promoting the campaign for Vietnamese people to prioritize using Vietnamese goods" - Ms. Pham Thi My Hoa emphasized.

It is known that over the past 6 years, the Hanoi Women's Union at all levels has supported 5,033 women to start businesses, connecting and supporting women to access credit capital of more than VND 8,000 billion. Thousands of women start-ups and women-owned businesses have been supported to innovate, apply science and technology, digital transformation, e-commerce, build and develop product brands, improve production and business efficiency, and expand product consumption markets through direct and online channels. To date, 324 products have been recognized as OCOP products; 275 women's businesses have been connected to build product brands. The effective activities of the Union at all levels have helped thousands of businesses, cooperatives, and business households owned by women overcome difficulties, stabilize production and business development, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the capital.
