Attending the ceremony were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, as well as 68 intellectuals who won the title of Outstanding Bac Ninh Intellectuals, 155 authors and collaborators of 16 works that won the Science and Technology Award, and 51 solutions that won the Bac Ninh Provincial Technical Innovation Contest in 2025.
In his opening speech, Mr. Mai Son - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province affirmed that the ceremony to honor outstanding Bac Ninh intellectuals; award the Science and Technology Award and the Provincial Technical Innovation Contest in 2025 is an opportunity for the provincial leaders to express their deep gratitude to those who have devoted their intelligence, enthusiasm and ambition to create new values for society; affirm the pioneering role of the intellectual team - the force that always goes ahead, opens the way, leads the development of the homeland and the country; arouses the spirit of daring to think - daring to do - daring to innovate in the whole society.
The leader of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province emphasized that with the vision of building Bac Ninh into a centrally-run city before 2030 and by 2045, a green, civilized city with strong Kinh Bac identity, Bac Ninh needs a pioneering force - that is the team of intellectuals and scientists.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced and awarded 51 solutions participating in the Bac Ninh Provincial Technical Innovation Contest 2025, including 3 First prizes, 10 Second prizes, 17 Third prizes and 21 Consolation prizes.
In which, the group of authors Luong Xuan Huy, Nguyen Van Thi, Chu Van Tuan (GOC Food Processing Export Joint Stock Company) with the solution of Automatic melon pump 5000kg/h; the group of authors Dang Huy Ha, Pham Van Thinh, Tran Xuan Son, Mai Thanh Dat (Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Provincial People's Committee Office; Information Technology Center - VNPT Bac Ninh) with the solution of Zalo Mini App "Democratic regulations of Bac Giang province" and the group of authors Nguyen Minh Cuong, Nguyen Thi Le (Bac Ninh Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital No. 1) with the solution of Minimally invasive open heart surgery in children with ventricular septal defect and atrial septal defect excellently won the First Prize.
At the same time, the Organizing Committee awarded the Science and Technology Prize to 16 works, including 6 works in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities; 5 works in the field of Agricultural Sciences; 5 works in the field of Science, Engineering and Technology; and 6 works in the field of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
The author group Chu Thi Huong, Nguyen Thi Phuong Oanh (Bac Ninh General Hospital No. 1) with the work "Current situation and solutions for multi-factor control in type 2 diabetes patients treated as outpatients at Bac Giang General Hospital (old)" in the field of Medical Science; the author group Vu Quang Khue (Bac Ninh Industrial College), Nguyen Khac Tu (Bac Ninh Center for Disease Control No. 2), Tran Quang Huy (Phenikaa University) with the work "Research on methods for rapid detection of some Salmonella and Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria using Dropsens 110 electrochemical sensor modified with gold nanoparticles (AuNPs)" in the field of Excellent Science, Technology and Engineering won the B prize.
The Organizing Committee awarded Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province and reliefs of the title "Outstanding Bac Ninh Intellectuals" to 68 individuals, including 5 individuals who met the achievement criteria of "First Prize of the Provincial Technical Creativity Competition"; 1 individual was awarded the title of People's Artist and 62 individuals were awarded the titles of professor and associate professor.
