9 districts of Dong Nai must complete documents to adjust land use planning to 2030 before June 30.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, regarding the implementation of the adjustment of district-level land use planning to 2030, in August 2024, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 2576 on the allocation of land use targets to 2030 for districts and cities. In particular, the province assigned 9 districts to prepare dossiers to adjust district-level land use planning to 2030, ensuring compliance with the Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, approved by the Prime Minister in July 2024.

As for Bien Hoa city and Long Khanh city, the People's Committee assigned these two localities to decide on the option of preparing a dossier to adjust the general urban planning or adjust the land use planning based on the actual situation.

Up to now, of the 9 districts implementing the dossier to adjust the district-level land use planning until 2030, only 2 districts Long Thanh and Thong Nhat have basically completed it, Vinh Cuu district has implemented the step of collecting opinions from related units and people.

Meanwhile, the remaining 6 districts have not yet implemented the steps. Bien Hoa City and Long Khanh City have chosen to prepare documents to adjust the general urban planning.

Regarding the industrial park land use target, the total demand for industrial park land use in the province by 2030 is more than 23 thousand hectares, while the target allocated by the Prime Minister to the province is more than 18.5 thousand hectares.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc said that the adjustment of land use planning to 2030 is being carried out in parallel with the adjustment of land use planning at the national and provincial levels. This process depends on the approval of the adjustment of district-level land use planning and the general urban planning to 2030. Currently, the Prime Minister has not yet decided to allocate land use quotas for Dong Nai province.

Regarding the implementation of district-level land use planning adjustments to 2030 for 9 districts in the province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc requested that localities complete the dossier before June 30. Localities that complete after this time must clearly report the reasons and propose land management plans when implementing the 2-level local government model from July 1. For Bien Hoa city and Long Khanh city, the two localities must review and complete the dossier to adjust the general urban planning before June 30.

Regarding the industrial park land use index, relevant agencies shall review and balance between land types to ensure sufficiency. At the same time, report to the Prime Minister on the industrial park land use demand until 2030 and orientation to 2050.
