Admission scores for grade 10 at Thu Khoa Nghia High School for the Gifted (Chau Doc City): Math (29 points); Information Technology (26 points); Physics (24.75 points); Chemistry (29.25 points); Biology (23 points); English (27.90 points); Literature (29.25 points); History (28.25 points); Geography (29.25 points); Information Technology (19.50 points). There are 404 candidates admitted to 12 specialized classes at Thu Khoa Nghia High School for the Gifted.

Nguyen Hoang Khanh Ngoc (student of Ly Thuong Kiet Secondary School, Long Xuyen City) scored 49.5 points and was the valedictorian of the entrance exam to the specialized Math class (Thoai Ngoc Hau Specialized High School).
