The Party development work in the local militia force has always been focused on by the Party Committee of An Son Ward (Tam Ky). Thereby, it contributes to building a strong and comprehensive local militia force, acting as the core to successfully carry out local defense and military tasks.
Joining the mobile militia force of An Son ward since 2020, Mr. Phan Phung Hoang always actively participates in training and drills whenever mobilized.
Besides, he participates in mass mobilization work to support local people, participates in disease and natural disaster prevention work. He himself is always conscious of studying and cultivating moral qualities to become more mature.
In recognition of that effort, in July 2023, Mr. Hoang was admitted to the Party and participated in activities at the An Son Ward Military Party Cell. He shared: “Being admitted to the Party is an honor and pride for me and my family, helping me to mature from awareness to action. This is also a great motivation for me to continue to strive to study and practice to improve my qualifications, meeting the requirements of the assigned tasks.”
The Military Command (CHQS) of An Son ward determined that the task of developing party members in the militia force is extremely important in consolidating a strong local national defense.
In recent years, the unit has focused on advising the Ward Party Committee to issue resolutions on leading the work of developing the Party in the militia force, especially the standing militia force. In the process of building the force, the Ward Military Command has focused on selecting young people with qualifications, ethics, and good political awareness.
Commander of the An Son Ward Military Command, Nguyen Khac Tan, said: “Through the process of performing training and patrolling tasks to ensure security and order in the area, the unit selects soldiers who actively participate, complete assigned tasks well, have a firm ideological stance as a factor to create a source for developing party members, from which to focuson education and fostering awareness to develop the party.
In addition, party members assigned to educate and help the masses always stick closely to the source objects, actively educate them on political ideology, help them clearly perceive the position and role of party members to nurture their motivation to strive, and have a sense of pride when standing in the ranks of the Party.
With specific methods in recent years, on average, each year, the An Son Ward Military Party Cell has recruited 1 party member, reaching 100% of the assigned target. In 2023 alone, the locality has recruited 2 party members, exceeding the city's target. Thereby, the number of party members in the Military Party Cell has increased to 36/131 people.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Chuyen - Party Secretary and Secretary of the Military Party Cell of An Son Ward said: "The militia soldiers admitted to the Party always have a steadfast ideology, promote their duties and responsibilities well in their assigned positions, contributing to the emulation movement to win of the ward every year to always maintain the top position in the city".
