Vice Chairman of the Can Duoc District Labor Federation - Pham Van Thanh said: The most effective measure to prevent occupational accidents is to raise the sense of responsibility of employers and employees. Specifically, companies and enterprises must strictly comply with the Law on Occupational Safety and Hygiene (OSH), creating the best conditions for implementing OSH procedures and regulations. Employees must be proactive and raise their awareness of protecting themselves, strictly complying with regulations and procedures at the workplace.

Mr. Chau Hoang Dinh Huan - in charge of Maintenance and Projects of Saf Viet LD Co., Ltd., said: “New employees are required to undergo an integration and quality training course in the factory, after which the Company will check whether the employee has all the necessary certificates for each job position. In case they do not have a certificate of eligibility from the competent authorities, the Company will send them for training. Only after the employee has all the necessary certificates of occupational safety and health will they be allowed to perform maintenance and project work.”

In addition to raising awareness for employees, the Company proactively builds many plans to ensure occupational safety and health of the unit such as building 7 incident gathering points; dividing separate paths for forklifts and pedestrians; building fences, posting warning signs at dangerous points; annually organizing strict occupational safety and health equipment inspections, etc.

In particular, now entering the hot season when fires and explosions are likely to occur, the Company also hires people to inspect the fire prevention and fighting system and organizes training for employees.

The month of action on occupational safety and health with the theme "Strengthening assessment, identification of hazards and risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and health at the workplace" takes place from May 1 to 31, 2025.
