The late painter Van Giao, one of the pioneers of revolutionary painting, spent a lot of time following Uncle Ho closely to be able to convey his spirit, style and soul into each work. Painter Diep Minh Chau, during his time working in the Dong Thap Muoi resistance zone, used blood from his arm to draw a portrait of Uncle Ho and three children representing the three regions of the country, along with a "blood letter" to Uncle Ho: "Dear Father". This emotional act is a testament to the artist's sacred affection for the Father of the nation.

The relic sites created the best conditions for the film crew.

"I returned from the battlefield, with injured eyes, unable to see. Unable to see, I still painted, with the belief in the light within me. I owe my whole life to the mountains and rivers, to those who sacrificed, to the Fatherland, to national peace...", those are the shares of Colonel, painter Le Duy Ung about his journey of tirelessly painting Uncle Ho, especially the lifelong memory he engraved in his heart when painting Uncle Ho with blood.

Artist Tran Xuan Phuc has also devoted his entire career to painting Uncle Ho, demonstrating the enduring vitality of this subject in contemporary painting. The film helps audiences understand more about the artistic journey of these artists, as well as the stories behind their works.

During the filming process, the film crew received close attention and direction from leaders at all levels. The script, editing, and sound mixing all received specific comments from the People's Army Cinema Review Board. However, there were also many difficulties, such as finding documents about characters who died 30-40 years ago or the long journey to many locations.

Director Nguyen Tu Duc shared: "Making a film about President Ho Chi Minh is a sacred and challenging task, especially for a young director like me. Portraying Uncle Ho's image in a way that is both close and authentic while still maintaining respect and historical value requires carefulness and deep understanding. That is a great responsibility that our crew always remembers throughout the filmmaking process."
