Hanoi Health Sector honors 182 excellent workers, nurses, technicians, and midwives in 2025

NDO - On May 13, the Hanoi Health Sector Trade Union held a conference to honor excellent workers, nurses, technicians, and midwives in the capital's health sector in 2025. At the conference, 182 officials of the capital's health sector were awarded the title "Excellent workers, nurses, technicians, and midwives" in 2025.

This is an opportunity to honor and commend direct workers who have made outstanding achievements in production, disease prevention, patient care, in response to "Workers' Month 2025" and "International Nurses Day (May 12) 2025".

According to Chairman of the Hanoi Health Sector Trade Union Trinh To Tam: The Hanoi Health Sector Trade Union is currently managing 117 grassroots trade unions with a total of over 29 thousand union members, workers, civil servants and laborers. This is a special labor force, who directly work in production; take care of and serve all the needs of patients, they have contributed significantly to the implementation of the political tasks of the unit and the sector.

Recognizing the important role of the team of workers, nurses, technicians, midwives, and direct workers, in recent times, the Industry Union has closely coordinated with the Hanoi Department of Health to direct units to always pay attention to these subjects; fully implement policies and regimes, gradually improve material and spiritual life; create conditions for training, improve professional qualifications, update information, and apply new and advanced techniques.

In addition, the Industry Union regularly organizes competitions and sports events by industry, creating opportunities for workers to review knowledge, practice skills, supplement new expertise and techniques, and practice communication and behavioral skills, which has contributed significantly to improving the quality of direct workers in units and enterprises.

Launching emulation movements such as: "Good people, good deeds"; "Good workers, creative workers"; "Scientific research, creative initiatives"; "Good at public affairs, good at home affairs"; "Bright-green-clean-beautiful"; "Innovating the style and attitude of medical staff towards patient satisfaction"..., contributing significantly to improving the quality of service and patient health care.

Acknowledging and praising the will to strive and efforts to overcome difficulties and challenges of the team of workers, nurses, technicians, and midwives in the entire health sector in recent times.

At the same time, comrade Le Dinh Hung hopes that after this conference, 182 individuals who are outstanding workers, nurses, technicians, and midwives who were commended and awarded this time will continue to promote their sense of responsibility, constantly study and strive in their work; actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, and become positive factors and shining examples for cadres, workers, civil servants, and laborers in the entire industry to learn from.

Permanent Vice Chairman Le Dinh Hung also hopes that, in order to further promote the role and responsibility of the team of workers, nurses, technicians, and midwives in the coming time, the Capital Health Sector Trade Union will continue to perform well the functions of the trade union organization, focusing on the function of caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers, especially the team of workers, nurses, technicians, and midwives; promote propaganda and education among cadres, workers, civil servants, and laborers about the role, meaning, and importance of patriotic emulation movements.
