The key project of the 32nd SEA Games must certainly be the Morodok Techo National Stadium, about 20km from the capital Phnom Penh, with a maximum capacity of up to 75,000 spectators.
This is where the opening and closing ceremonies, men's football semi-finals and finals, as well as athletics competitions at the 32nd SEA Games, will take place.

From a distance, the Morodok Techo National Stadium resembles a sailboat, with two "bows" at either end of the pitch reaching 99m high, the highest points of this football stadium. Meanwhile, the stadium's stands are nearly 40m high.
In addition, the two tallest spike structures at both ends of the field resemble the Cambodian people's "Sampeah" gesture, which is to close two palms together as a respectful greeting of the people of this country.

Morodok Techo Stadium is located in the Cambodian National Sports Complex. Construction of the complex began in April 2013, with Morodok Techo Stadium starting in August 2017.
By August 2021, it will take exactly 4 years for the host country of SEA Games 32 to complete this football field, with a construction cost of about 168 million USD (about 3,950 billion VND).
Before the Morodok Techo complex was put into use, the main sports facilities and stadiums in Cambodia were the Olympic National Stadium and Sports Complex, in Phnom Penh.

At the 32nd SEA Games, the Olympic Stadium hosted matches in Group A of the men's football event (including host Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines and Timor Leste).
This is also a fairly large football field, with a capacity of up to 50,000 people. The football field is quite old, first put into use in 1964. Previously, the Olympic stadium often used artificial grass, but at the 32nd SEA Games, the entire field used for men's football was natural grass, so the Olympic stadium also changed the grass to suit.
Previously, before Morodok Techo Stadium was built, most of the Cambodian national team's home matches in international tournaments, including matches at the 2018 AFF Cup, took place at the Olympic Stadium.

Another stadium to be used at the 2023 Southeast Asian Games is the Visakha Stadium, also known as the Prince Stadium, in Phnom Penh. This is the stadium that will host matches in Group B of the men's football event, where the Vietnam U22 team will compete.
Visakha Stadium is smaller than Morodok Techo Stadium and Olympic Stadium. Visakha Stadium has a capacity of 15,000 people and is the home stadium of Visakha FC of the Cambodian National Football Championship.
Although small, Visakha Stadium is quite spacious. In preparation for this year's SEA Games, the host country has renovated this stadium, from the stands to the grass.
Meanwhile, the women's football matches will take place at two stadiums, RCAF Old (capacity of 8,000 spectators) and RSN (capacity of 5,000 spectators), both located in Phnom Penh. RCAF Old Stadium will host the matches of Group A of the Vietnamese women's team, while RSN Stadium will host the matches of Group B of the women's football event, with the presence of hosts Cambodia and Thailand.
