Mediterranean architecture is always popular in the world thanks to its simple, unadorned beauty. The combination of creative color tones and coastal motifs is the highlight of works applying this architectural style.

The way the white tones of sand, the blue of the sky and sea, the terracotta color of the hills by the sea... impress diners at first sight.

Mediterranean architecture began to gain international attention in the 20th century, and has gradually become a popular trend in Vietnam. In Ho Chi Minh City, restaurants and cafes designed in this style are ideal places to relax on hot days.

Diverse culinary styles at Mediterranean restaurants

With its elegant dome design and gentle brown and white tones, Sol Kitchen & Bar (District 1) is considered a “Santorini paradise” in the heart of the city. This place used to be an old French building over 100 years old, located next to Ben Thanh market.

The Mediterranean influence is evident in every little detail, be it the bamboo ceiling lamp, the dome design or the warm brown and earthy yellow room. The dining table and sofa are all carefully selected to suit the space.

The restaurant's most premium dish is Carne Asada, a beefsteak with a different preparation method, served with salsa sauce - a typical spice of Mexican cuisine. The price is 900,000 VND for a 250g portion.

For seafood lovers, you can enjoy Ha Long Oysters, Spanish Red Shrimp, King Mackerel Tiradito.

Diners also have the opportunity to experience red bean beef stew, Iberico pork ribs, and unique Mexican chicken dumplings... The party can end with refreshing cocktails.

Overall, most diners rated the food taste and service as relatively good.

Having had lunch at the restaurant about 3 months ago, Ngoc Duyen was satisfied with the space. However, this diner thought that the portions were a bit small, only suitable for 2 people.

Recent experience, account Ken David said the air at noon is quite hot. Customers need to scan QR code to view online menu, however slow Wi-Fi is inconvenient, need to upgrade. Prices are more expensive than other tacos shops, but the quality of the food is not really commensurate.

Multi-style Asian restaurant, specializing in fusion food, prices from 69,000 VND/dish. Fusion food (or fusion cuisine) is the blending of ingredients, processing methods... between two or more countries and cuisines, giving diners a different feeling.

Service quality is average, sometimes the dishes take a long time to come out, affecting the customer experience.

Tropical Land in Coffee Shops

With coffee shops, the airy architecture and tropical breath harmonize with the landscape to create a unique character.

Still the familiar color scheme of the Mediterranean style, however, Le Ciel Café (Binh Thanh) brings fresh inspiration thanks to the green trees and large glass windows to welcome the sunlight. The shop also has statue painting activities for customers to relax.

The space is somewhat limited, but with a reasonable interior layout, the shop is almost airy from every angle. The decoration meets the check-in needs of young people. The gravel floor, ropes or concrete chairs attached to the wall... are the highlights of the shop.

Having experienced it, Vu Lam is satisfied with the space, the drinks are easy to drink, not too sweet, but he thinks the shop needs to improve the quality of the cakes. Most customers commented that the taste of the drinks is good, suitable for the price range.

Located in this area, Dalaland.saigon stands out with its oasis-like design. The restaurant has a dominant white and blue color scheme, and is decorated with many beautiful miniatures for guests to take photos.

The restaurant has 2 floors, each floor has a koi pond. The first floor has no roof, the view is towards the tallest building in the city and the Metro station, only suitable for relaxing in the shade or at night.

The ground floor has both indoor and outdoor air-conditioned spaces for those who like to enjoy the fresh air. However, the outdoor area is still quite hot despite the many trees.

Drinks cost around 50,000 VND/dish. Most customers commented that the quality of the drinks was not special. A glass of water is small in size, but the price is quite high.

The atmosphere is quiet and airy, but if you come on the weekend, it will be very crowded. On Saturday and Sunday nights, the restaurant often organizes acoustic music nights.
