[Photo] Vietnamese and Chinese students paint conical hats and make traditional ceramics

Students of Hoang Van Thu Secondary School ( Lang Son ) warmly welcomed the delegation and 20 students from Bang Tuong town, Guangxi, China.

Students from both countries visited and learned about the unique cultural features of Lang Son province at the Lang Son Provincial Museum.

Students visit the museum's special exhibition area "Liberation of the South in 1975 - Epic of Great Victory".

Right after visiting the museum, students participated in the conical hat painting activity.

Decorating Vietnamese conical hats is a meaningful activity.

In addition to being creative when participating in this activity, students also have the opportunity to learn and honor traditional cultural symbols of Vietnam.

The conical hat is a familiar image to Vietnamese people, not only as a shield from the sun and rain but also a symbol of grace and simplicity.

Students have 10 minutes to decorate the conical hats.

Students from both countries show off their creative achievements.

Nguyen Thanh Hao, a student at Hoang Van Thu Secondary School, really likes his work. He hopes to spread the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and China.

In addition to decorating conical hats, students also experience making traditional ceramics.

At this event, the program organizers also presented Bat Trang ceramic cups to the delegation and students of Bang Tuong town, Guangxi, China.

In particular, after students complete their handmade products, the organizers will send them back after heating.

Students from Vietnam and China took souvenir photos with meaningful products they created after the activity ended.
