Nhat Binh Ao Dai costumes have attracted the attention of visitors with the meaning of the costumes, the style combining tradition and modernity with traditional Vietnamese silk and raw silk materials.
Nhat Binh Ao Dai is a traditional cultural beauty of Hue. In 1807, during the reign of King Gia Long, Nhat Binh traditional costume was officially regulated and maintained throughout the Nguyen Dynasty. This is not only a symbol of traditional beauty but also an embodiment of stability and prestige in contemporary society. Inspired by the beauty of Nhat Binh Ao Dai, traditional patterns with royal colors were used by Designer Cao Minh Tien, arranged in a modern and youthful style, bringing a new look.
Designer Cao Minh Tien is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Textile and Fashion, University of Industrial Economics and Technology. Cao Minh Tien has been pursuing a career in fashion design since 2003. He has launched many collections as well as participated in many performances and cultural exchanges in Vietnam and many countries around the world.
Following the Opening Gala, the Diplomatic Corps Fashion Exhibition will remain open to the American public through May 10, 2025.
