Ba Thuoc brought the movement to encourage learning and talent to a new level of development.

To put the activities into practice, since its establishment, the Ba Thuoc District Association for the Promotion of Education (HKH) has focused on promoting propaganda work, raising awareness for everyone and every household about the principles and purposes of the association's activities. At the same time, focusing on building a comprehensive and strong grassroots association organization. Up to now, the association has developed widely in 100% of villages, hamlets, agencies, schools, and business units with 44 grassroots associations and branches; 470 branches and learning promotion committees under the grassroots association. The association organizations attract more than 30,900 members, reaching a rate of 27.3% compared to the district's population.

On the basis of building a strong association, the district's HKH has launched many emulation movements, such as: emulation to build funds, build learning families, learning clans... From these movements, science and technology work in the district has continuously developed, many families have voluntarily participated and have good practices, valuable experiences in encouraging,educating , motivating children to study hard, practice virtue and talent, strive to achieve high achievements in study and work. Statistics of the district's HKH show that by the end of 2024, the whole district had 21,924/26,719 families recognized as learning families, reaching a rate of 82%; 246/301 clans in the whole district were recognized as learning clans, reaching a rate of 81.7%; 186/205 residential communities (villages, villages, hamlets, neighborhoods) were recognized as learning communities, reaching a rate of 90.7%. Regarding the citizen learning model alone, the whole district has over 27,000 people who are farmers and rural laborers registered to build and 25,296 people have been recognized; 15,397 people are laborers, small-scale craftsmen, household appliance repairmen, and freelance workers registered and 10,988 people have been recognized...

Along with the above activities and movements, the work of propagating and mobilizing organizations and individuals to contribute to the education promotion fund has also been focused on by the Ba Thuoc District Education Council. Through many forms of mobilization, the education promotion fund in the whole district has reached over 6 billion VND. In particular, the education promotion funds at all levels in the district have promoted and strongly developed the movement to build "Family education promotion savings tubes". In 2024 alone, the whole district had 16,335 households with savings tubes with a savings amount of more than 5.6 billion VND. From this fund, every year, the education promotion funds at all levels organize awards and scholarships for thousands of students with outstanding academic achievements and students with difficult circumstances who have made great strides in their studies. In addition, each year, the education promotion funds at all levels in the district also propagate and mobilize people to donate hundreds of millions of VND to build campuses, classrooms, repair and build new desks and chairs in schools. Coordinate with the district education department to build a study corner for students, launch the evening drumbeat to encourage learning; build a bookshelf to encourage learning with 12,623 books of all kinds...

Chairman of the HKH district of Ba Thuoc, Le Huy Hoang, said: The results achieved in the science and technology movement in the district have contributed positively to the development of the scale and improvement of the quality of comprehensive education in the district. In recent years, the rate of high school graduates and high school supplementary students has always reached 95% or more; the number of students passing the university entrance exam has reached 150 - 250 students. The activities of the HKH levels in the district have also contributed to the effective implementation of the policy of universalizing preschool education for 5-year-old children, universalizing primary education at the right age and universalizing lower secondary education in the district. In addition, the HKH levels have also played a core role in organizing activities of commune-level community learning centers, with about 70,000 people participating in learning each year in content groups such as: disseminating current events, policies, legal advice, transferring scientific and technological advances into production... This is also considered an important premise for building a learning society from the grassroots.

Assessment from practice shows that science and technology work in Ba Thuoc district has been developing, making an important contribution to improving people's knowledge and training human resources for the homeland and the country. According to Chairman of the Ba Thuoc District Science and Technology Association, Le Huy Hoang, this is both the result of the attention, leadership and direction of the Party Committee and the government, and the result of close coordination between the Science and Technology Association and departments, branches, and organizations, especially the education and training sector. It is also the result of the consensus and support of all classes of people and the enthusiasm and responsibility of each cadre and member of the district Science and Technology Association.
