Accordingly, the subjects include: Nguyen Van Vinh, born in 1991 and Nguyen Van Chung, born in 1982, both in Bai Sim village, Tan Hung commune (Lang Giang) were prosecuted for the crime of producing and trading in counterfeit plant protection drugs as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 195 of the Penal Code.

Previously, on April 16, a working group from the Economic Police Department (Bac Giang Provincial Police) presided over and coordinated with Tan Hung Commune Police and Market Management Team No. 3 (Market Management Department, Department of Industry and Trade of Bac Giang Province) to inspect and catch Nguyen Van Vinh red-handed while he was producing various fake pesticides at his private home. Also participating were Nguyen Van Chung and Nguyen Thi Huyen, born in 1990 (in Bai Sim village).
At the time of inspection, the authorities seized nearly 7,200 finished pesticide products; about 20,000 labels of various types; nearly 1,000 plastic bottles; 300 kg of raw materials, plastic caps, plastic wrap, plastic containers containing liquid solutions, and many machines and tools for producing fake pesticides.

All products do not contain active ingredients used as pesticides, and do not have the effect of protecting plants from pests, killing weeds, or killing insects.
It is known that business activities take place mainly on social networks. Since the end of 2024, Vinh has sold 10.7 thousand orders to customers in many provinces and cities across the country. Revenue is estimated at more than 5 billion VND.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Bac Giang Provincial Police is continuing to investigate and expand the case to handle related subjects according to the law.
