Bac Giang: Honoring 145 good children of Uncle Ho in the period 2020-2025

At the Congress, delegates and children watched the reportage "Bac Giang children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings in the period of 2020-2025". Continuing the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers, children's work and Team activities in the province have been widely and effectively deployed in schools and residential areas; creating a friendly, safe and healthy environment for children to study, play and develop comprehensively.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Huong presented a flower basket from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to congratulate the Congress.

The whole province has more than 325 thousand team members and children; 449 teachers in charge of the team in schools; more than 2 thousand cadres in charge of children in residential areas, collaborators working in team bases and children's houses. Programs and movements such as: " Bac Giang children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings", "Small plan", "Thousand good deeds", the campaign "For beloved juniors" ... have attracted hundreds of thousands of team members, teenagers and children in the whole province to participate.

Comrade Le Anh Quan presented 500 gifts to the Provincial Youth Union Council and children of Bac Giang.

In the period of 2020-2025, the Youth Union and Pioneer organizations at all levels have supported more than 40,000 disadvantaged children with a total budget of nearly 10 billion VND; more than 330,000 children participated in and benefited from activities to improve their English skills, digital skills and international integration knowledge. Activities to protect the environment,educate on gender and prevent social evils have been widely implemented. The whole province has more than 50,000 children achieving the title of Good Children of Uncle Ho at the Youth Union level, and more than 900 children have been recognized as Good Children of Uncle Ho at the district level.

Speaking here, comrade Nguyen Thi Huong emphasized: The Party Committee, government and the entire political system of the province always pay attention to the work of caring for, educating and protecting children; the work of building the Team and the children's movement. She acknowledged and commended the outstanding results that children and the Team organizations at all levels in the province have achieved in the past time.

In order for the work of the Young Pioneers and the children's movement to develop more and more effectively, he requested that the Party committees at all levels, authorities, departments, branches, and organizations, especially the Youth Union and Young Pioneers organizations in the province, continue to pay attention to leading, directing, and coordinating the implementation of the work of caring for, protecting, and educating children; the work of the Young Pioneers and the children's movement in the province. Close coordination between families, schools, and society in educating and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of adolescents and children; proactively prevent, promptly detect, stop, and strictly handle violations of the law against children.

The Young Pioneer Organization continues to promote its role as a representative of children's voices and aspirations; care for and accompany children, especially poor, disadvantaged children, children in especially difficult circumstances; children in remote and isolated areas. Strengthen propaganda, education, and fostering revolutionary ideals, ethics, lifestyle, and culture for the young generation, contributing to the formation of a generation of patriotic teenagers and children with ambitions and aspirations to contribute, always loving, united, and helping each other.

Comrade Nghiem Xuan Huong and leaders of the Provincial Youth Union awarded the title of Uncle Ho's Good Children to exemplary team members and children.

Focus on innovation, improving the quality and effectiveness of useful movements, programs and activities that are suitable for the psychology of the age group, attracting the participation of a large number of teenagers and children. Regularly train, improve the skills, expertise and quality of the team of Team leaders to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Children Support and Development Center presented 500 gifts, worth 117 million VND to the Provincial Youth Union Council and children of Bac Giang.

At the Congress, the Provincial Council of the Young Pioneers honored 145 typical examples of Uncle Ho's good children with outstanding achievements in the work of the Young Pioneers and the children's movement in the period of 2020-2025. At the same time, it selected and introduced 7 children's delegates to attend the 10th National Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children in 2025.
