Bac Kan won high prize at the National Art Competition "Sen Village Singing" 2025

Performance of Bac Kan Province's Mass Art Troupe at the "Sen Village Singing" Festival 2025.

This year's festival gathered 30 mass art troupes with nearly 1,000 non-professional actors from all three regions of the country, performing 158 diverse performances in genres such as: singing, dancing, solo singing, group singing, ensemble, solo playing of traditional musical instruments... All performances deeply expressed the affection, gratitude and love of the people of the whole country for President Ho Chi Minh .

Participating in the festival, the mass art troupe of the Bac Kan Provincial Culture and Information Center brought a program with the theme “People who give ideals and dreams”, which was elaborately staged, harmoniously combining folk music and modern stage style. Through each performance, the image of the sincere, emotional and highland-identity-rich Bac Kan people was clearly and vividly portrayed.

At the Closing Ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 36 Gold Medals, 62 Silver Medals and many Certificates of Merit. The Bac Kan delegation won 01 Gold Medal with the singing and dancing performance “Offering You the Song of the Homeland – Homeland to Uncle Ho – You Give Ideals and Dreams”; 02 Silver Medals for the ensemble performance “Mountains and Rivers Thank You” and the dance performance “On the Na Pau Hill”. In addition, the delegation was also honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the People’s Committee of Nghe An province for its outstanding achievements in the series of activities of the Sen Village Festival.

Leaders of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province awarded Gold Medals to outstanding performances at the Festival.

The performances of the Bac Kan troupe were highly appreciated for their subtle combination of Viet Bac folk art and contemporary art, contributing to spreading the sacred sentiments from the Northwest mountains and forests to Uncle Ho's homeland. Not only a performance venue, the Festival is also an opportunity for Bac Kan artists and actors to exchange and learn, while promoting the image of the people, culture and nature of their homeland to friends across the country.

Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province, awarded Certificates of Merit from the People's Committee of Nghe An province to the art troupes participating in the Festival.

Outstanding achievements at the "Sen Village Singing" Festival in 2025 continue to affirm the strong vitality of the mass art movement in Bac Kan province, contributing to preserving and promoting Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style./.
