Bac Lieu regulates standards for commune-level leadership positions

Accordingly, in addition to the general and specific standards of Executive Committee members and Standing Committee members of the Commune Party Committee, the Party Secretary at the commune level must also be an experienced cadre in Party building work, have the capacity to handle difficult and complicated issues related to the locality and unit, and be responsible for his or her decisions.

The Provincial Party Committee gives priority to arranging the current District Party Secretary to hold the position of Commune Party Secretary. In particular, for Party Committees with important positions, economic scale, developed urban transport infrastructure, large number of Party members and population, it is possible to consider and arrange personnel who are members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee to be Commune Party Committee Secretary.

Regulation 1459 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee also specifically states the standards and orientations for personnel arrangement for Deputy Party Secretary at commune level, Chairman of People's Council at commune level, Chairman of People's Committee at commune level, Vice Chairman of People's Council at commune level, Vice Chairman of People's Committee at commune level.

The Provincial Party Committee also stipulates its own standards and personnel arrangement orientations for leadership positions of specialized agencies, staff positions assisting the Commune Party Committee; leadership and management positions of the government sector.

This regulation is effective from the date of signing until there are new regulations and instructions from the Central Government. It shall be implemented according to the regulations and instructions from the Central Government.
