In 2025, Bac Ninh province will hold 3 exams including: high school graduation exam; entrance exam for grade 10 of public high schools and specialized high schools; entrance exam for grade 6 of key middle schools.
The earliest is the entrance exam for grade 10 of public high schools and specialized high schools, which will take place over 3 days from June 5-7, 2025. Candidates for grade 10 of public high schools will take the exam in 3 subjects: Math, Literature and English on June 5-6.
On June 7, candidates registering for the entrance exam to Bac Ninh High School for the Gifted will take the specialized subject exam. The new point of this year's exam is that the scores for the Math and Literature exams will be graded on a 10-point scale instead of multiplying by a factor of 2 as in previous years.

Regarding the entrance exam for grade 6 of the key junior high school, students will take a competency assessment test according to the general exam questions of the Departmentof Education and Training, including 3 subjects: Math, Vietnamese and English. The time to test and evaluate students' competencies is June 7, 2025.
The 2025 High School Graduation Exam will take place from June 25 to 27, 2025. Up to this point, Bac Ninh province has 19,652 candidates registered for the exam (an increase of 1,873 candidates compared to 2024); of which, 19,381 candidates registered for the exam under the 2018 General Education Program, 271 candidates registered for the exam under the old program.
Notably, this is the first year that Bac Ninh province as well as the whole country organizes the high school graduation exam for 2 groups of candidates: 12th graders studying under the 2018 General Education Program, will take 2 compulsory subjects: Math, Literature and 1 optional exam (2 out of 10 subjects in the 2018 General Education Program); independent candidates will take the exam according to the old program.

The whole province organized an Examination Council chaired by the Department of Education and Training, including 28 examination sites with 831 official examination rooms. Of the 28 examination sites, there is 1 examination site reserved for candidates who registered to take the exam according to the old program. The number of examination invigilators and supervisors is about 2,500 people.
At the conference, the contents related to the organization of inspection, examination and ensuring security and safety in organizing exams, controlling candidates bringing high-tech devices into exam rooms; ensuring traffic order and safety and material conditions at exam sites received special attention from the members of the Steering Committee.
Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Le Xuan Loi, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Examinations and Admissions, requested members, based on their assigned functions and tasks, to make the greatest efforts to ensure that the examinations take place safely, seriously and with quality. In particular, the Department of Education and Training (the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Examinations) urgently reviewed and completed procedures related to the examinations; promoted propaganda on mass media so that candidates could understand and grasp the examination regulations; organized training for the examination staff.
