Bac Ninh welcomed more than 600 thousand tourists in the first 3 months of the year

In particular, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year At Ty, the number of visitors to Bac Ninh is estimated at 83,000 - 95,000. Destinations that attract a large number of visitors include: Dau Pagoda, But Thap Pagoda (Thuan Thanh), Phat Tich Pagoda (Tien Du), Do Temple (Tu Son City), Ba Chua Kho Temple, Cung Gieng Ngoc Temple (Bac Ninh City) and major festivals of the province such as Huu Chap Tug of War Festival, Lim Festival, Dong Ky Cannon Procession Festival...

Since the beginning of March, after the positive effects of the MV Bac Bling, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has consulted on developing a plan to organize free tours with the theme "Bac Ninh Cultural Quintessence - Heritage Colors" every Saturday and Sunday. In response to the tourism needs of people inside and outside the province, the relevant agencies have increased tours, increased trips, and opened online registration channels to facilitate people. Instead of 2 tours with 4 trips/day before, it has increased to 4 tours with 8 trips/day and served more than 700 guests/week. After the first 3 weeks of implementation, Bac Ninh has had more than 2,100 visitors participating in the free tours.

The province currently has more than 575 organizations and individuals participating in tourism business activities. Of which: 63 travel agencies, passenger transport agencies, tourism service agencies and 512 accommodation establishments. The agencies develop tour programs suitable for each type of customer in and outside the province, contributing to serving the needs of sightseeing, shopping and resting for tourists when coming to Bac Ninh.

In the coming time, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will continue to direct and organize free tours "Bac Ninh Cultural Quintessence - Heritage Colors" every Saturday and Sunday until the end of June 2025. Continue to effectively implement the Project "Promoting the value of cultural heritage associated with tourism development in Bac Ninh province for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030". Regularly inform localities in the association about short-term training programs and courses on hotel operations, travel operations, tour guide operations, and interpreter operations. Continue to maintain the good implementation of the work of granting and exchanging tour guide cards, granting decisions to recognize the classification of tourist accommodation establishments, and granting licenses to operate domestic travel services in the province in accordance with the provisions of law...
