Bac Ninh started construction of Tran Quoc Toan Inter-level School project on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

(PLVN) - In the atmosphere of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), Bac Ninh city held the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Tran Quoc Toan Primary and Secondary School Construction Investment Project (phase 3) with a total investment of more than 132 billion VND invested by the Bac Ninh City Construction Project Management Board.

Previously, on the morning of April 19, 2025, at the construction site of Tran Quoc Toan Primary and Secondary School (Bac Ninh City), the groundbreaking ceremony of phase 3 of the investment project to build Tran Quoc Toan Primary and Secondary School was solemnly held, marking an important step forward in the strategy of sustainable, modern and comprehensiveeducation development in the locality.

The investment project to build Tran Quoc Toan Primary and Secondary School (phase 3) was approved by the People's Committee of Bac Ninh city on November 18, 2024 with a total investment of more than 132 billion VND, invested by the Bac Ninh City Construction Project Management Board. The winning bidder is the consortium of contractors Phat Tich - Bac Ninh Housing Development - Quoc Bao with a winning bid price of more than 107 billion VND. Implementation time is 180 days; Expected completion in September 2025.

The project is built on a 23,640m2 land area including 3 blocks of buildings and has a scale of 63 classrooms and 16 functional rooms combined with the head office block.

The scale of the project includes: Demolition of old, degraded buildings such as a 4-storey classroom building, a 2-storey multi-purpose building, a 1-storey kitchen block, a gate and fence, and a guard house on Do Trong Vy street. The new construction includes: A classroom building combined with the main office: 5-storey building, 1 ground floor and 1 attic; A multi-purpose building: 2-storey building, 1 ground floor. Auxiliary works and technical infrastructure outside the house include: Football field; Outdoor water supply and drainage system; Outdoor power supply; Outdoor lighting; Internal traffic roads; Garden; Gate and fence, guard house.

To meet the teaching and learning needs of the school and in parallel with the completion of infrastructure construction, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh city has organized investment phases. In which, phase 1 includes the construction of a secondary school classroom block with 18 classrooms and 06 auxiliary rooms; completed and handed over for use in August 2022. Phase 2 includes a primary school classroom block with 19 classrooms and 05 auxiliary rooms; completed and handed over for use in September 2024.

The investment project to build Tran Quoc Toan Inter-level School - phase 3 - is the next step in the strategy to develop a standard educational facility, modernize teaching and learning items, and aim to build a high-quality learning environment for primary and secondary school students.

This phase will focus on: Building smart classrooms, standardizing equipment. Expanding functional areas such as multi-purpose halls, libraries, sports fields, STEM areas. Increasing green and friendly spaces on campus.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh - Director of the Bac Ninh City Construction Project Management Board emphasized: "The implementation of phase 3 of the project not only demonstrates determination in educational innovation but also a commitment to a modern, creative and inspiring learning environment for future generations."

It is expected that after completion, Tran Quoc Toan Primary and Secondary School will become a typical educational model of the locality, contributing to improving the quality of teaching and learning, meeting the requirements of integration and development in the new period.
