On October 25, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province held a conference to announce the results of the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024 - 2029.
Attending the Conference were Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province, along with representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Commission, socio -political organizations of Bac Ninh province; Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of the Fatherland Front Committees of districts, towns and cities in Bac Ninh province.
On October 16, 17 and 18, at the National Convention Center ( Hanoi ), the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024 - 2029, took place solemnly with the theme "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development".
The Congress was attended by 1,052 official delegates and more than 300 invited delegates. The Congress discussed and approved the Political Report; discussed and voted to approve the directions, goals and action programs of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term.
Approving the Report on reviewing the activities of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Presidium and the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term IX, 2019 - 2024; the amended and supplemented Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; the Personnel Plan of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, 2024 - 2029.
At the Congress, 397 members were elected to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, 2024 - 2029. The first conference of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, elected a Presidium of 67 members; 4 members of the Standing Committee: Chairman, Vice Chairman - General Secretary and 2 full-time Vice Chairmen, 7 part-time Vice Chairmen. Mr. Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, was trusted and elected to continue holding the position of Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, 2024 - 2029.
The delegation of Bac Ninh province attending the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024 - 2029 includes 11 delegates attending the congress, including 2 ex-officio delegates, 7 consultative delegates and 2 appointed delegates.
During the Congress, the members of the delegation always upheld their sense of responsibility, strictly complied with the rules and regulations of the Congress, and actively participated in the contents and programs of the Congress.
Bac Ninh province has 3 delegates elected to join the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, including: Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha, Chairwoman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Most Venerable Thich Duc Thien, Vice Chairman and General Secretary of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha; Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh, former member of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
At the Conference, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province Tran Xuan Nhien suggested that in the coming time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province continue to widely propagate the results of the Congress, synchronously deploy key tasks, and be determined to successfully implement the Action Program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 2024 - 2029 term.
At the Conference, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province also organized a Guide to collect people's opinions on the recognition of villages meeting the standards of Model New Rural Area and Advanced New Rural Area; and guided a number of contents related to organizing the National Great Unity Day in residential areas in 2024.
