This morning (April 26), at km 19 + 250, the road to Tam Dao town, Tam Dao district (Vinh Phuc), a passenger car with license plate 059.95 traveling from Hai Duong had an accident, crashed into the embankment on both sides of the road, overturned and was severely damaged.

According to updated information from Vinh Phuc General Hospital, up to now, the accident has caused 3 deaths, many victims were seriously injured, of which 3 cases were transferred to Viet Duc Hospital for emergency treatment.

Doctors from Viet Duc Hospital examined and quickly assessed the extent of damage to a patient at Vinh Phuc General Hospital.

Immediately after receiving the information, under the direct direction of Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan, Dr. Duong Duc Hung, Director of Viet Duc Hospital, quickly sent an emergency team from another hospital to Vinh Phuc for rescue.

Leading experts in anesthesia - resuscitation, trauma, digestion... along with specialized equipment have arrived in Vinh Phuc.

On the way, doctors coordinated with Vinh Phuc General Hospital right on the bus to handle serious cases on the spot.

At Vinh Phuc General Hospital, doctors from Viet Duc Hospital directly participated in interdisciplinary consultations, clinical examinations, quickly assessed the extent of injuries and prescribed appropriate emergency treatment options for each case.

According to Vinh Phuc General Hospital, in addition to the 3 deceased victims, there were many seriously injured victims, of which 3 cases were urgently transferred to Viet Duc Hospital for further intensive treatment, including: 2 patients with crushed forearms, complicated prognosis, risk of long-term impact on motor function; 1 patient with severe leg injury, requiring emergency orthopedic surgery.
