At the Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School exam site, many students left in an excited mood, rushing into their parents' arms to show off their 6th grade test results and express their joy, including Phan Thien Phuc, a student at Le Duc Tho Primary School (Go Vap District). "I did the whole test, except for the last math question. The test wasn't too difficult, so I felt quite confident about the result," Phuc shared.
Starting to practice for the exam at the center from the summer of grade 4 to grade 5, Thien Phuc said that although some questions in the test were not exactly the same as the types he had learned, thanks to being trained in thinking, analytical skills and problem solving, he was still able to solve most of the questions.
BH, a student at Hanh Thong Primary School (Go Vap District), confidently commented that the test was "very easy", including the last math question. "The last question only required reasoning about the shape of a keychain. The question gave 4 squares wide and 5 squares long, and the length was 4cm longer than the width, so each square was 4cm. The important thing was to analyze the size of a square," H. explained how to do the test.
In Vietnamese, H. said that although he did the test, he was not sure because he did not really understand the topic. Specifically, the question asked him to share what "the color of Vietnamese" was, and to present his thoughts on using beautiful words and ideas to express love. "I was afraid that I would get few points for this part because I am very bad at writing. In the test, I wrote words of love to my parents, family and close people around me," H. recalled.
Parents and students left in high spirits.

Nguyen Minh Hanh, a student at Phan Chu Trinh Primary School (Go Vap District), shared that she was able to complete this year's 6th grade test at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School. "I have reviewed all the knowledge in the test," Hanh said, adding that she has registered for extra classes at the center for all the subjects in the test since the second semester of this year.
The test is within the range of Nguyen Tran Phuong Nghi, a student at Vo Thi Sau Primary School (Go Vap District). Nghi shared that she is quite confident with her test in subjects such as Vietnamese and English and only had difficulty with the last question in math. "I studied at home by myself and did not study at a center. Overall, I found this test easier than the ones I tried before," Nghi said.
Mr. Nguyen Bao Quoc, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, said that the structure of the 6th grade exam at Tran Dai Nghia School this year is stable as last year. Specifically, the exam content will include 2 parts: multiple choice and essay with a time limit of 90 minutes to assess the ability to use English, Vietnamese; mathematics and logical thinking; natural sciences; social sciences: history-geography; common sense of life.
