Female student slapped and kicked by a group of friends in school restroom: 3 meetings and an apology

(NLDO) - Among the 6 students who participated in beating the female student of class 8A9, only 2 were in the same class, the rest were from different classes and the same grade.

Regarding the case of a female student being beaten by a group of people in the restroom at An Dien Secondary School, Ho Chi Minh City, the school's Board of Directors has issued disciplinary action against 6 students who participated in the beating of a female student in class 8A9.

The cause was determined to be a conflict while lining up in the gym class of class 8A9 on the afternoon of Friday, October 31st, when the gym teacher scolded and threatened to tell their parents. Afterwards, the group of students made an appointment to go to the school restroom to "settle the matter". Of the 6 students who participated in beating the female student of class 8A9, only 2 were in the same class, the rest were in different classes and the same grade.

After receiving the information, on November 2, the school's Board of Directors contacted 7 families of the students to come to school to conduct an investigation and determined that the students had a conflict during physical education class, leading to the above mentioned fight. The Board of Directors coordinated with the families to visit and apologize to the family of the beaten female student. All parents of the students who participated in the beating are responsible for compensation for medicine and travel expenses.

The school then held two more meetings on November 3 and 5. The school principal also apologized to the parents of the beaten female student, accepted the school's responsibility, and pledged to the parents to strictly and properly handle the students who participated in the beating.

Accordingly, the school will handle students who violate the law at the highest level according to Circular 19 of the Ministry of Education and Training , and will advise and support them after the violation. The disciplinary level will be made public during the flag-raising ceremony at the beginning of the week to deter other students. At the same time, students will be reminded not to be indifferent, not to cover up, and not to encourage violent behavior.

The homeroom teacher will review all related students to handle them according to their authority. Delete and remove all clips posted on social networks and on phones.
