8th grade student pushes friend into lake in Lao Cai

A home security camera recorded the image of a male student assaulting and then pushing his friend into a lake in Yen Bai ward, Lao Cai province. The victim was luckily pulled to shore by locals and taken to the hospital for treatment.

Speaking to reporters, a leader of Yen Bai ward - Lao Cai province said that the authorities are verifying the case of a male student showing signs of assaulting and pushing a classmate into a lake in Yen Bai ward.

Accordingly, at around 4:30 p.m. on the same day, local authorities received a report that two male students in grade 8 at Quang Trung Secondary School, Yen Bai Ward, during an argument, one student attacked his friend, then pushed the victim into the lake and left.

According to a representative of the Department of Education and Training of Lao Cai province, the male student who pushed his friend into the lake showed signs of hyperactivity. After the incident, the school coordinated with the police to take the victim to the emergency room.

Initial investigation revealed that the cause was a disagreement between two students that led to an argument and then a fight. The authorities are still investigating the incident where the male student used a weapon to attack his friend.

Previously, a video clip appeared on social media recording images of a male student allegedly attacking a friend and then pushing him over the railing and falling into the lake. Fortunately, the victim was discovered by people and pulled to shore, with a bleeding wound.

The victim is currently being treated in hospital.
