On the morning of November 6, in Nam Nha Trang ward, authorities were urgently evacuating people in Xom Nui area - where a serious landslide had occurred - to bring them to safety.
Senior Lieutenant Chu Duc Tai, Head of Hon Ro Border Guard Station, said that the forces of the units are coordinating to propagate to households in the Xom Nui area about the risk of landslides and storms; and mobilizing people to move to safe areas while taking shelter from the storm.
Since the evening of November 5, the authorities have assisted people in moving from dangerous areas to safe places. Some elderly people and children were taken to Hon Ro Border Guard Station, schools, and cultural houses in the area. By 10:00 a.m. on November 6, the ward had evacuated more than 200 households (about 700 people) in Xom Nui and Xom Mui to safe places.
Mr. Nguyen Van Minh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Nha Trang Ward, said that the provision of food for evacuated households has been carefully prepared, ensuring that people do not suffer from shortages during the storm. Xom Nui and Xom Mui areas are two densely populated residential areas with complex terrain and high risk of landslides in the ward. The locality is continuing to count the number of evacuated households and arrange forces to be on duty at the scene, ready to support when the weather worsens.

Authorities propagate about storm prevention No. 13 in Nam Nha Trang ward
Faced with the complicated developments of storm No. 13, on November 6, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard Command issued a decision to establish four working groups headed by comrades in the Command, assigned to areas in charge, to deploy storm prevention and control work across the province.
Colonel Phan Thang Long, Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command and Commander of the Provincial Border Guard Command, said: "In the immediate future, the entire force will focus on ensuring absolute safety for people and vehicles operating at sea, especially in the Truong Sa archipelago and coastal areas. Border guards have proactively announced and called on ships to take shelter from the storm before strong winds."

People have been evacuated to safety.
According to a quick report on the morning of November 6 from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Khanh Hoa, educational establishments in the area will allow students to take a break on November 6 and 7 and during the days of heavy rain and floods. In addition, the province has established 9 working groups and assigned areas to be in charge of implementing the work of preventing and fighting storm No. 13.
Regarding the evacuation of people in vulnerable areas, localities have identified 237 locations in the province at risk of landslides, with about 6,162 households and 27,826 people, mainly concentrated in the wards of Nam Nha Trang, Bac Nha Trang, and Nha Trang with 130 locations, 4,029 households, and 16,520 people needing evacuation.
