Youth of the Central Bank for Social Policies: Pioneering, united, creative for social security goals

Over the years, the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) has always affirmed and promoted its leading role in the economy, supporting people to overcome difficulties, develop production and business, and stabilize their lives.

In particular, in the context of the great revolution in streamlining the apparatus, the merger of provinces and cities has advantages and great opportunities but also challenges in the new period. With the spiritual and intellectual aspirations of the youth, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Central Bank for Social Policies (the Central Bank for Social Policies Youth Union) always promotes the pioneering and creative spirit, actively undertakes youth projects and tasks, affirming the role of the Party's reliable reserve force.

In the 2022 - 2027 term, the Youth Union of the Central Bank for Social Policies has promptly led and directed units to well implement assigned tasks, build clean and strong Youth Union branches and actively participate in social security activities.

Promoting the role of volunteer shock troops and pioneers

During the 2022 - 2027 term (2022 - 2025 period), the Youth Union and youth movement have always received attention, direction and facilitation from the Party Committee of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, the Management Board of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, the coordination and facilitation of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies Trade Union, the Trade Union of the Head Office and the Trade Union Groups, etc. The Youth Union of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies has successfully implemented the Resolution of the Congress of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies Youth Union. The work of educating political ideology, ethics and lifestyle for union members and youth has been widely implemented, in diverse, rich and practical forms, associated with the actual situation of the unit. During the term, 3 Youth Union officials were recognized by the Government Youth Union as exemplary young Party members in studying and following the ideology, ethics and lifestyle of Ho Chi Minh. The movement "Creative youth, pioneering to protect the Fatherland" has created an environment to nurture and promote the creative, pioneering and volunteering role of the youth. The Standing Committee of the Youth Union has promoted the organization of volunteering activities with many journeys to red addresses, participating in activities to review the nation's history at historical sites; implementing the Campaign "Proud of a strip of land and rivers"; the communication campaigns " Peace is beautiful", "Proud of Vietnam" have been actively promoted and implemented by the Youth Union branches, contributing to educating and spreading patriotism and national pride to the youth union members.

Actively participate in Party building, training, fostering and introducing outstanding people to create a next generation. During the term, 58 members were honored to be in the Party ranks.

Also during the past term, the scientific topic "Creating working motivation for youth union members of the Central Bank for Social Policies" was accepted, with more than 100 union members participating in initiatives and scientific research topics, contributing to the development and editing of many professional documents and operating mechanisms suitable to reality. The Youth Union of the Central Bank for Social Policies is always dynamic, creative, constantly learning and applying information technology to improve work efficiency. Some youth union members are the core force participating in many large projects such as upgrading the Intellect Core Banking system, building a Policy Credit Management application, supporting commune transaction points to operate safely and effectively - affirming the pioneering, creative and responsible role of the youth of the Central Bank for Social Policies in the journey of national digital transformation.

With the motto "Where there are youth and Youth Union organizations, there are creative activities"; The Youth Union of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies has carried out 2 projects at the Youth Union level, 10 grassroots projects on social security and 30 grassroots projects on proactively implementing political tasks and business production of the unit. The Youth Movement of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies joins hands for community life associated with implementing social security in the period of 2022 - 2025, the Youth Union of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies has carried out with a total amount of more than 700 million VND from professional support sources and grassroots trade unions, calling for contributions from cadres and union members.

Block-level youth projects on social security activities were implemented by the Youth Union of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies in difficult areas and localities through the funding support of cadres and union members in the whole system: Organizing the donation of playground equipment for preschool children at Ma Ngan San Village School, Ta Van Commune, Ha Giang Province; donating the project of Lighting up the Countryside Roads in Binh Trung Commune, Cho Don, Tuyen Quang Province; Giving gifts and bicycles to students in difficult circumstances who have excelled in their studies at Hai Phuc Secondary School, Hai Hau, Ninh Binh Province; Supporting the construction of a house of gratitude for 01 poor household in difficult circumstances with an amount of 130 million VND in Hanoi; Supporting youth, career counseling, employment through the job creation loan program, the loan program for students in difficult circumstances... The Youth Union of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies has also deployed and planted more than 3,000 trees, responding to community environmental protection movements, the campaign "For a green, clean and beautiful environment".

In addition, the Standing Committee of the Youth Union of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies also actively implemented voluntary blood donation activities by proactively organizing blood donation campaigns as well as participating in blood donation programs organized by the higher-level Youth Union. The results in the last term were that the union members were mobilized to successfully donate 320 units of blood, reaching a rate of 128%, exceeding the target set for the 2022 - 2027 term.

Pioneering innovation in the new era

The 2022 - 2027 term is a special term, due to changes and shortening of time, according to the original plan it was a 5-year term but it was changed to a 3-year term, the new term is 2025 - 2030, the Youth Union of the Central Bank for Social Policies has tried to complete the targets set for the 2022 - 2027 term with 2 targets exceeding the plan and 4 targets achieving the plan.

Youth Union members have a firm stance and ideology, always believe in the leadership of the Party and the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, are always united, strive to make great efforts, have a high level of education, use foreign languages ​​well and apply information technology and modern technical support means well, are always ready and determined to overcome all difficulties and challenges, and join hands to build the collective union and the unit to develop.

With the results achieved in the work of the Youth Union and youth movement, the Youth Union of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies has been awarded by the Central Youth Union, the Central Business Bloc Youth Union and the Government Youth Union for its collective and individual achievements every year.

The steps to innovate the content and methods of operation that the Youth Union of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies has persistently implemented in the 2022 - 2027 term and the 2022 - 2025 period not only create a solid foundation, but also combine with the aspirations to rise up, dare to think, dare to do of the young generation, becoming a strong driving force for the work of the Union and the youth movement to constantly develop, accompanying the cause of innovation, integration and development of the country.

The majority of the youth union cadres are part-time, while the requirements for quality and intensity of professional work are increasingly high, affecting the time and investment in youth union work; the increasingly high requirements of the modern civil service and professional work require youth to constantly improve. Promoting the pioneering and creative role of the youth, the youth union members and youth of the Social Policy Bank are always pioneers and vanguards in participating in Party building and implementing political tasks, professional work is the leading force in digital transformation at the Social Policy Bank.
