Steering Committee 389 of Binh Dinh and Soc Trang provinces exchange experiences in combating smuggling and trade fraud

STO - On the afternoon of November 27, at the Market Management Department of Soc Trang province, the Steering Committee 389 of Soc Trang province had a meeting and worked with the delegation of the Steering Committee 389 of Binh Dinh province to exchange experiences in the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in Soc Trang province.

Attending the meeting were comrades: Nguyen Ngoc Hien - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee 389, Director of the Market Management Department of Soc Trang province; Tran Duc Tien - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee 389, Director of the Market Management Department of Binh Dinh province and members of the Steering Committee 389 of the two provinces.

At the meeting, the Steering Committee 389 of the two provinces shared experiences in the fight against counterfeit goods; goods of unknown origin; goods infringing intellectual property rights; inspection and handling of violations in e-commerce activities. Activities of the interdisciplinary inspection team of the provincial Steering Committee 389. Inspection, control, and violations in the trade and transportation of prohibited goods, including smuggled cigarettes, in Soc Trang province. In addition, the Steering Committee 389 of Binh Dinh province and the Steering Committee 389 of Soc Trang province informed about the socio -economic situation of the two localities; and surveyed a number of production and business establishments operating in Soc Trang province.

Through the experience exchange between the 389 Steering Committees of the two provinces, it contributes to improving the professional qualifications and skills of officials and civil servants of the member agencies of the 389 Steering Committee, contributing to the effective implementation of the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in the provinces in the coming time.

On this occasion, the Standing Office of the Steering Committee 389 of Binh Dinh province presented the Steering Committee 389 of Soc Trang province with a painting of the statue of Emperor Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue, the hero of Binh Dinh who made glorious achievements in the history of the struggle to build and defend the country of the Vietnamese people. The Standing Office of the Steering Committee 389 of Soc Trang province presented the Steering Committee 389 of Binh Dinh province with a painting of Doi Pagoda - one of the famous tourist destinations of the locality.
