Handing over 15 Great Solidarity houses from the "2 safety" model to people of Le Tri commune

On the afternoon of May 16, An Giang Provincial Police coordinated with the Central Executive Committee of Hoa Hao Buddhist Sangha to organize a ceremony to hand over Great Unity houses to 15 disadvantaged households and Khmer ethnic minority households in Le Tri commune (Tri Ton district) on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025); promoting the movement of studying and following Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton in taking care of people's lives in the armed forces.

This is an activity in the "2 security" model (security and order - social security) jointly implemented by An Giang Provincial Police and the Central Executive Committee of the Hoa Hao Buddhist Sangha.

The houses handed over have corrugated iron roofs, corrugated iron walls or walls depending on the family's conditions, with an average construction cost of 60 - 80 million VND. Of which, An Giang Provincial Police and the Central Executive Committee of the Hoa Hao Buddhist Sangha mobilized benefactors to support 40 million VND/house, the rest was contributed by the family.

At the ceremony, the households were moved and expressed their gratitude for the attention of the local government and the sponsoring unit that helped their families have solid houses, reducing difficulties in life. At the same time, they promised to actively work and produce; participate in campaigns and patriotic emulation movements in the locality.

On this occasion, the organizers also gave each family a gift, including: Rice, noodles, necessities and mosquito nets worth 500,000 VND/gift.
