Delegates presented the Great Solidarity house to Mr. Tran Minh Toan's family in Vinh Duc Dong hamlet, Vinh Hoa commune (Ba Tri).
Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Dang Thi Phuong, Chairman of the Board of Directors - and Director of Ben Tre Lottery Company Tran Thanh Tuan; representatives of the People's Committee of Ba Tri district; Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chau Thanh, Binh Dai, Giong Trom, Cho Lach, Mo Cay Nam, Thanh Phu districts attended.
Reporting on the implementation of the construction of 150 houses, Standing Member - Head of the Movement Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Duong Duy Khoa, said that implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for households with meritorious services, poor households, and near-poor households in the province, in 2024, Ben Tre Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. supported 9 billion VND to build 150 Great Solidarity houses for poor households with housing difficulties in the province.
Based on the supported budget, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Provincial Committee has allocated 74 houses to Ba Tri district, 24 houses to Giong Trom district, 21 houses to Mo Cay Nam district, 18 houses to Chau Thanh district, 9 houses to Binh Dai district, 3 houses to Thanh Phu district and 1 house to Cho Lach district.
150 houses started construction in February 2025 and have now been basically completed. The houses have an area of 32 to 60m². The houses are built to ensure 3 hard (hard foundation, hard frame, hard roof) reinforced concrete columns, frame, corrugated iron roof, cement floor, main door and side door are fully installed.
The total cost of building a house behind the house when completed is the highest 100 million and the lowest is 70 million, in which Ben Tre Lottery Company Limited supports each house with 60 million, the rest is mobilized by family, relatives, and local authorities to support and contribute.
At the handover program, the Organizing Committee presented symbolic plaques to 74 households in Ba Tri district (the remaining households in the districts will be handed over after the program).
Chairman of the Board of Directors - cum Director of Ben Tre Lottery Company Limited, Tran Thanh Tuan, said that Ben Tre Lottery Company Limited is a state-owned enterprise, focusing on striving to excellently complete the tasks and targets assigned by the People's Committee of Ben Tre province. At the same time, the company's staff is very interested in and responsible for sharing with the community through social security work.
Presenting symbolic plaques to households in Ba Tri district
On behalf of the sponsor, Mr. Tran Thanh Tuan congratulated and shared the joy with all the people when they had a house to protect them from the rain and sun. According to Mr. Tran Thanh Tuan, the amount of support for each house is not large (60 million VND/house), but it shows the timely attention of leaders at all levels and the sponsor to help people overcome housing difficulties. Hopefully from now on, people will have a new, warmer house and better conditions to develop their family economy .
Previously, representatives of the province, district, and sponsoring unit came to present the Great Solidarity house to Mr. Tran Minh Toan's household in Vinh Duc Dong hamlet, Vinh Hoa commune (Ba Tri), a poor household with housing difficulties. The house has an area of 50 square meters, with a construction cost of nearly 66 million VND. Of which, Ben Tre Lottery Company Limited sponsored 60 million VND, the rest was contributed by the family.
Provincial, district, commune and sponsoring unit delegates took souvenir photos with households receiving Great Solidarity houses at the program.
On this occasion, the program's Organizing Committee announced and awarded a certificate of merit from the Provincial People's Committee to Ben Tre Lottery Company Limited for actively supporting the construction of Great Unity houses for poor people in Ben Tre province.
