Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Cao Van Son, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Paper Corporation said: Over the years, the Party Committee of Vietnam Paper Corporation has always received direct leadership and direction from the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc, the attention and support of the leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Party building and implementation of political tasks. Thanks to that, despite facing many difficulties, the Party Committee of Vietnam Paper Corporation has thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented the directives and resolutions of the Party and the Government; closely followed the leadership and direction of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc, the Ministry of Industry and Trade; focused on leading and directing the unit to resolutely deploy and synchronously implement solutions; proactively, creatively, unitedly, focusing on the intelligence of cadres, party members and workers to overcome difficulties. At the same time, striving to basically complete the set goals and tasks such as developing production and business activities; Ensuring stable employment and income; improving the material and spiritual life of cadres, party members and workers; cultural and social security work has many positive changes; political security and social order and safety have been maintained; Party building and political system building have achieved very important results.
At the handover ceremony, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel Tran Quang Huy announced the decision of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on receiving the Party Committee of Vietnam Paper Corporation, including 28 affiliated Party organizations and 750 Party members. In the past time, Vietnam Paper Corporation has always fulfilled its tasks well in Party building, especially in organization, propaganda and mass mobilization. Regarding political tasks, despite facing many difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Vietnam Paper Corporation has made great efforts to overcome them, achieving many positive production and business results compared to some other units.
Comrade Nguyen Duc Phong, Standing Deputy Secretary, Executive Committee of the Central Enterprises Party Committee, emphasized that the transfer of the Vietnam Paper Corporation Party Committee to the Ministry of Industry and Trade Party Committee is to implement Conclusion No. 121, dated January 24, 2025 of the Central Executive Committee on summarizing Resolution No. 18/NQ-TW. Through many ups and downs of the country, Vietnam Paper Corporation has had times of very good development and made many contributions to the country's economy and society. " In the coming time, I hope that when receiving the Vietnam Paper Corporation Party Committee, the Ministry of Industry and Trade Party Committee will create conditions for Vietnam Paper Corporation to promote its strengths and overcome difficulties to excellently complete political work, especially in the preparation period for Party Congresses at all levels, towards the National Party Congress ", Comrade Nguyen Duc Phong noted.
Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, said that the handover ceremony between the two Party Committees today was carried out very promptly and quickly. To achieve this, it is necessary to acknowledge the efforts and facilitation of the comrades at the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc. In the coming time, the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade pledges to closely lead the comrades at the Party Committee of the Vietnam Paper Corporation to continue to better fulfill the assigned tasks. In addition, it is ready to prepare for the organization of the Party Congress, fully prepare the documents so that the organization work is guaranteed to be smooth and on schedule.
According to Comrade Cao Van Son, in the current context, the Party Committee of Vietnam Paper Corporation determined that the next phase will open up many opportunities and advantages but also many difficulties and challenges. Among them, there are many important political tasks that need to be focused on and implemented with very high requirements on quality and progress, requiring a new vision and orientation.
