Handing over houses to poor households in Sung Phai commune

At the program, Venerable Thich Minh Nhat - Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province presented 360 million VND to 6 poor households of Sung Phai commune including: Mr. Ma A De's household (Hoi Lung village), Giang A Minh (Gia Khau 1 village), Phan A Thanh (Suoi Thau village), Phan San Chieu (Can Cau village) and Mrs. Giang Thi Dua's household (Lung Thang village), Sung Thi Mao (Cu Nha La village).

The Executive Committee of Lai Chau Provincial Buddhist Sangha, leaders of the City Fatherland Front Committee, and Sung Phai commune presented support money to poor households in Sung Phai commune.

Accordingly, each household was supported with 60 million VND to build a house, the rest was contributed by the families. After more than 2 months of construction, 6 houses with an area of 60-90m2 were completed on schedule. With a solid brick structure, steel purlins, corrugated iron roof, concrete floor, ceramic tiles; steel frame glass doors... ensuring quality and safety in construction and use.

These are meaningful and practical gifts from the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province to help poor households in Sung Phai commune live in new, more spacious and clean houses, responding to the call for joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area.
