*Domestic coffee prices today, May 1, in the Central Highlands region remained unchanged compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 130,200 - 130,800 VND/kg.
Accordingly, traders in Dak Nong province are purchasing coffee at the highest price of 130,800 VND/kg. No change compared to yesterday.
Similarly, coffee prices in Dak Lak province are at VND130,800/kg, unchanged from yesterday.
Coffee prices in Gia Lai province remained unchanged and were traded at VND130,700/kg.
In Lam Dong province, coffee prices remained unchanged at VND130,200/kg.

*On the morning of May 1, the domestic pepper market continued to maintain a stable trend, without much fluctuation compared to recent sessions. The average purchasing price in key localities is currently maintained at 155,200 VND/kg, reflecting that domestic purchasing power has not had a major change during the holiday.
Specifically, in Gia Lai - where a slight decrease was recorded yesterday - pepper prices have stabilized at 154,000 VND/kg. In Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Binh Phuoc, the price is still at 155,000 VND/kg. Dak Nong and Dak Lak continue to maintain the highest purchase price in key regions, reaching 156,000 VND/kg.
However, the domestic market is currently showing signs of slowing down amid flat domestic demand, and pressure from export prices showing signs of falling again.
*On May 1, the domestic rice market recorded a generally stable price compared to the previous session, however, trading activities were quiet due to many traders and warehouses being on holiday. In the Mekong Delta region, fresh rice prices remained stable, without major fluctuations.
Specifically, the price of OM 5451 rice ranges from 6,400–6,600 VND/kg; IR 50404 rice is at 5,700–6,000 VND/kg; OM 18 is at 6,800–7,000 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 fluctuates at 6,900–7,000 VND/kg; OM 380 is in the range of 5,900–6,000 VND/kg; and Nang Hoa 9 remains at 6,650–6,750 VND/kg. Although the price has not decreased, purchasing power is very low, especially at purchasing points in Dong Thap, An Giang, Can Tho and Kien Giang.
Similar to the rice market, raw rice prices today also recorded no new adjustments. IR 504 rice is still purchased at 8,050-8,250 VND/kg, CL 555 remains at 8,400-8,700 VND/kg. OM rice varieties such as OM 18, OM 380, OM 5451 fluctuate from 7,700 to 10,400 VND/kg depending on the type and quality.
OM 380 finished rice is traded at VND8,800-9,000/kg, while IR 504 finished rice remains at VND9,500-9,700/kg. Some regions such as Sa Dec (Dong Thap), An Cu (Tien Giang) have small transactions, most warehouses are closed for the holiday, prices remain stable.
The prices of by-products such as broken rice 2 and bran also remained unchanged. Broken rice 2 currently fluctuates between 7,150-7,250 VND/kg, while the price of bran remains at 8,000-9,000 VND/kg.
