Previously, information from the family said that comrade Nguyen Van Thai passed away at 3:51 p.m. on January 25 after a long period of serious illness.

Comrade Nguyen Van Thai was born on May 15, 1952, in Thai Hoc commune (now Thai Minh commune), Binh Giang district, Hai Duong province, permanent residence at No. 10, Do Uong street, Le Thanh Nghi ward, Hai Duong city.

He is a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, term XIV, 2005 - 2010.

Former Head of the Inspection Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thai was awarded the Third Class Labor Medal and Second Class Resistance Medal by the President . He was awarded the 50-year Party membership badge.

Memorial service at 10:10 a.m. on January 27, 2025, at home; burial service at 1:15 p.m.

The Standing Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee has established an 8-member Funeral Organizing Committee for comrade Nguyen Van Thai, headed by comrade Vu Hong Hien, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee.
