The Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Soc Trang province visited the provincial martyrs' cemetery.

STO - On the evening of May 9, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Soc Trang province, led by Most Venerable Tang No - Deputy Supreme Patriarch of the Central Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province, President of the Provincial Association of Patriotic Monks and Nuns, led a delegation with monks, nuns, monks, and Buddhists to lay wreaths and burn incense in memory of heroic martyrs at the provincial martyrs' cemetery on the occasion of the Vesak Buddha's birthday, Buddhist calendar 2569 - solar calendar 2025. Also attending were leaders of the City Party Committee, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Soc Trang city.

In front of the provincial martyrs cemetery memorial, the monks, nuns, monks, and Buddhists offered flowers and incense, and observed a moment of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs, those who did not spare their blood and bones, and heroically sacrificed to bring peace to the country. Afterwards, the members of the delegation went to burn incense on each grave of the heroic martyrs, praying for the souls of the heroic martyrs to be liberated, praying for national peace and prosperity, and for the development of Soc Trang province.

This is an activity towards the national origin, showing gratitude to the heroic martyrs of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province and Buddhists on the occasion of Buddha's birthday this year. On this occasion, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province also presented 30 gifts to policy families in Soc Trang city.
