E-Commerce Index Ranking 2025: Hanoi City Leads

Hanoi leads the Vietnam E-commerce Index 2025 ranking with 74.7 points, followed by Ho Chi Minh City with 73.5 points; and Da Nang with 28.1 points.

On April 25, 2025, within the framework of the Vietnam E-commerce Panorama Forum with the theme "Victory in the AI ​​era", the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM) announced the Vietnam E-commerce Index Report 2025 (EBI 2025).

The EBI 2025 report is based on a survey of thousands of businesses across the country.

Hanoi leads the Vietnam E-commerce Index 2025 with 74.7 points. Ho Chi Minh City ranks second with 73.5 points; Da Nang ranks third with 28.1 points, also a very large gap compared to Hanoi with 46.6 points.

The EBI index is built on three groups of criteria, including infrastructure and human resources, business-to-consumer (B2C) transactions and business-to-business (B2B) transactions./.
