According to the Head of the Central Executive Committee of the Tu An Hieu Nghia Buddhist Association, Nguyen Ngoc Trac, in the 2020 - 2025 term, the Central Executive Committee of the Buddhist Association has well implemented the program and action plan in accordance with tradition, charter, regulations and legal provisions. Organizing religious activities and important holidays in accordance with the doctrine with solemn rituals, gradually improving in accordance with the development of society.
Actively coordinate with the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to implement the model of "self-management of environmental protection" in Tu An Hieu Nghia Buddhism; register to support the Fund for the Poor every year to achieve and exceed the set target. During the term, the Central Executive Committee of the Buddhist Association regularly propagates to dignitaries, officials, relatives, and fellow believers in many forms to well implement the documents of the Central Government, the Provincial People's Committee and Tri Ton district.
In addition, the Central Executive Committee of the Buddhist Association mobilized benefactors inside and outside the province to donate 31,452 gifts to poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged households, with a total value of over VND 8.64 billion; built 15 new houses, repaired 12 houses, with a total value of over VND 840 million for poor households. At the same time, contributed to support people affected by storm No. 3, supported the Spring Tree Fund, built bridges, rural roads... more than VND 4 billion. Actively responded to patriotic emulation movements, especially the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Trac, in the 2025 - 2030 term, the Central Executive Committee of the Tu An Hieu Nghia Buddhist Association will continue to guide followers to carry out religious activities in accordance with the law, promptly resolve spiritual and belief needs. Prevent all acts of taking advantage of religion to violate the law, coordinate well with authorities at all levels to take care of the material and spiritual life of followers. Actively respond to and participate in patriotic emulation movements in the locality, with the motto of "Good life, beautiful religion". Ensure religious activities are in accordance with the principles, purposes, and practice of the Master Ngo Loi and the provisions of the law.
In addition, continue to create socialized funding sources and other resources to complete the construction of religious works. Promote social security activities to care for the material and spiritual life of relatives and people. Mobilize dignitaries, officials, relatives to participate in the campaign "All people unite to build a cultural life", maintain political security, social order and safety. Participate in building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, protecting the environment and responding to climate change.

Tu An Hieu Nghia Buddhism has about 100,000 followers, with 82 places of worship in 18 provinces and cities. This is an indigenous religion in An Giang province, founded by Master Ngo Loi with the motto "Acting the four graces, living in filial piety", expressing the spirit of patriotism and fighting against foreign invaders. Promoting tradition, Tu An Hieu Nghia Buddhist followers always actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, social security, and contribute to building their homeland. |
