In the final minutes, Nguyen Thanh scored a consolation goal for the home team from the penalty spot. With a 3-1 victory, Bao Chi Nghe An successfully defended its championship title. Journalist Le Vu Cuong (Binh Dinh Press Alliance) said that this is a very meaningful playground for journalists at the time of celebrating the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press. Maintaining the tournament through 11 times of organization proves the great efforts of the hosting units as well as the agreement and response of the press clubs of the Central provinces. "Hopefully this playground will be maintained and increasingly developed so that journalists in the Central region have the opportunity to meet and exchange every year," Mr. Cuong expressed.
