Absolute safety guarantee for Dak Nong Marathon 2025

The Dak Nong Marathon 2025 - Conquering the Southern Central Highlands was a great success. Dak Nong Provincial Police ensured absolute security and safety for the tournament.

Dak Nong Marathon 2025 - Conquering the Southern Central Highlands is hosted by Dak Nong Newspaper in coordination with Vietpro Media Development Joint Stock Company and 5:30 Community - Healthy and happy every day, organized by the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of Dak Nong province.

Provincial Police Traffic Police Department car leads the Kids run distance

This is the first marathon in Dak Nong province. The tournament has a scale of over 3,000 athletes with distances of 2km (Kids run); 5km, 10km, 21km, 42km; taking place in Gia Nghia city, Dak Nong province on May 31, 2025 - June 1, 2025.

The participants of the tournament are professional and amateur athletes from home and abroad; journalists, reporters from newspapers and radio stations; marathon clubs from provinces and cities across the country; and cadres, soldiers, union members, youth, and people from districts and cities in the province.

This event is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day. The activities aim to welcome Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The event contributes to promoting the image of Dak Nong land and people; responding to the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" among the masses, contributing to improving health to serve study, work, production, construction and defense of the Fatherland.

This is a tournament with a large number of athletes participating, so the work of ensuring security and safety is highly valued by the organizing committee.

Dak Nong Provincial Police met with the Organizing Committee to discuss plans to ensure security and traffic safety and order.

Before the tournament took place, the Organizing Committee coordinated with Dak Nong Provincial Police to ensure security, order and traffic safety to create the most favorable conditions for athletes participating in the tournament and local people cheering.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Cu Xuan Dung, Head of the Dak Nong Police Staff Office, immediately after receiving the dispatch from the Organizing Committee of the Dak Nong Marathon 2025, the Party Committee and the Provincial Police Department highly agreed with the coordination work. Dak Nong Provincial Police considers this an important political task.

Nghia Trung Ward Police force participates in maintaining order at the Dak Nong Marathon 2025

Dak Nong Provincial Police have directly assigned this task to the Internal Political Security Department as the focal point to coordinate with the Tournament Organizing Committee, the Provincial Traffic Police Department and the police of wards in Gia Nghia City. The department advises on the organization and deployment of forces to ensure security and order. Thereby, ensuring that the tournament takes place according to the program, ensuring absolute security and safety for athletes, delegates and leaders participating in the tournament.

Before the tournament took place, the police force coordinated with the Organizing Committee to discuss related issues such as: running route, one-way traffic ban, number of domestic and foreign athletes, accommodation locations, running time... to deploy security and traffic safety work.

Based on the actual situation, Dak Nong Police have developed a plan and professional solutions with the goal of ensuring absolute security and safety for the tournament.

On the day of the tournament, from 2am, traffic police, public order police, mobile police and police from 4 wards in Gia Nghia City (Nghia Trung, Nghia Duc, Nghia Tan, Nghia Thanh) were deployed along the running routes and event areas; strictly implementing traffic diversion and regulation plans, ensuring smooth routes and no congestion.

At the same time, the police force increased patrols, control, prevention and suppression of theft, public disorder... with the aim of ensuring absolute safety for the entire event. The activity contributed to affirming that Dak Nong is always a safe destination for national and international festivals and sports activities.

During the tournament, the provincial traffic police force arranged 1 car and 2 motorbikes to guide the running distances. In addition, the police force also arranged officers and soldiers to be stationed at the water supply points arranged by the Organizing Committee, ready to help when necessary...

Mobile police force participates in protecting the safety of athletes and people

According to Lieutenant Colonel Thai Tuan Anh, Deputy Head of the Internal Political Security Department of Dak Nong Police, implementing the direction of the Board of Directors, the police force mobilized many forces and police from 4 wards to participate in ensuring security and order for the tournament.

Accordingly, the provincial police mobilized more than 170 officers and soldiers including traffic police, security, mobile police and police from wards: Nghia Trung, Nghia Duc, Nghia Tan and Nghia Thanh to participate.

When the tournament took place, the forces were present at 44 points, these were the intersections where the race tracks for all distances of the tournament were located. In addition, the police also arranged forces to ensure security and order at the opening and closing ceremonies of the tournament.

“Although the tournament started early, from 2am, and there was light rain, all officers and soldiers assigned to the task completed their tasks excellently, contributing to the success of the tournament,” Senior Lieutenant Colonel Thai Tuan Anh shared.
