Hai Duong Newspaper supports house repair for a meritorious family in Binh Giang district

At the place where the first revolutionary newspaper was born in Hai Duong, Hai Duong Newspaper donated funds to support house repairs for the family of war invalid and sick soldier Nguyen Van Khang.

On the morning of April 26, Hai Duong Newspaper donated funds to support house repairs for Mr. Nguyen Van Khang's family in Kinh Duong village, Thai Duong commune (Binh Giang).

The funding for house repair support is supported by the staff, reporters, editors, and employees of Hai Duong Newspaper, the joint venture of Anh Quang Investment Company Limited, Thai Duong Construction Investment and Commercial Services and Hoang Thanh, and another enterprise.

Mr. Nguyen Van Khang (born in 1950) is a 55-year-old Party member, a war invalid and sick soldier, who participated in the liberation of Phu Yen province. In 1970, he was admitted to the Party in Phu Yen province.

After returning to his hometown after being demobilized, he became a Party cell secretary and joined the Veterans Association in his commune. The house he and his wife are living in is now in disrepair.

Mr. Nguyen Van Khang is a 55-year-old party member, war invalid, sick soldier, who participated in the liberation of Phu Yen province.

This is an activity in response to the emulation movement to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).

Ap Don (now Kinh Duong village, Thai Duong commune, Binh Giang) is where the Cong Nong newspaper, the first revolutionary newspaper in Hai Duong, was born, written, printed and published by comrade Nguyen Luong Bang in July 1933. The newspaper spread patriotism, called on the masses to rise up for revolution and to connect with the Party organization.

In recent years, Hai Duong Newspaper has regularly paid attention to social security activities such as joining hands to support people to overcome the consequences of storm Yagi; giving Tet gifts to families in difficult circumstances; giving gifts and scholarships to poor students in Hai Duong, Bac Giang and Tuyen Quang provinces...

In March 2025, Hai Duong e-newspaper ranked 3rd among local Party newspapers nationwide in terms of traffic with 3,811,000 visits. Hai Duong e-newspaper also ranked first among provincial and municipal Party newspapers in the North in terms of traffic for 5 consecutive months.
