The People's Committee of Hai Duong province has just allocated nearly 29.2 billion VND from the source of increased revenue and expenditure savings in 2024 to transfer to 2025 for targeted supplement to districts, towns and cities to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses according to the support level prescribed in Resolution No. 20/NQ-HDND dated April 28, 2025 of the Provincial People's Council.
The Provincial People's Committee assigns the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to manage and use the funding sources according to regulations, ensuring efficiency, savings and compliance with policies and regimes. The Department of Finance guides, inspects and supervises the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to comply with regulations.
Some localities received support in many batches such as: Gia Loc district with nearly 5.2 billion VND, the most in the province; Kinh Mon town with nearly 4.4 billion VND; Thanh Mien district with over 3 billion VND...
Previously, from various sources, the Provincial People's Committee supported over 78 billion VND in funding for localities to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.
Thus, up to now, Hai Duong has provided 100% of the funding for the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for policy beneficiaries.
According to Resolution No. 20/NQ-HDND dated April 28, 2025 amending and supplementing a number of articles of Resolution No. 01/NQ-HDND dated February 20, 2025 of the Provincial People's Council, Hai Duong supports 1,453 policy households to build and repair houses with a budget of 107.25 billion VND.
According to the tracking software system, by June 2, Hai Duong had completed 559 new houses for policy households, reaching nearly 81%; 760 households completed house repairs, reaching 99.9%.
