Bao Ngoc: 'I am more beautiful because I am criticized a lot'

Miss Bao Ngoc takes care of her figure and style to become more beautiful, because her appearance was criticized when she was first crowned.

Bao Ngoc sees her appearance changing after nearly a year of winning the title of 1st Runner-up of Miss World Vietnam 2022 and being crowned Miss Intercontinental. She said: "I see myself getting more beautiful every day after much criticism from the audience."

When she first became known to the public, the girl from Can Tho received a lot of gossip about her appearance, such as her excessive height (1.85 m), thin body with measurements of 87-63-98 cm, and an unattractive face. Amidst the compliments and criticisms, Bao Ngoc said she was sad, but she was willing to accept suggestions to change.

She is invested in building her image by a management company, supported by a professional team of stylists, makeup artists, and hairdressers. Bao Ngoc also has many domestic fashion houses take care of her clothes every time she appears at an event. "In addition to clothes and makeup, personal efforts have contributed to helping me change positively. I am more aware of taking care of myself, training to have a toned body, regularly updating fashion trends, and changing my style to avoid boredom," said Bao Ngoc.

Designers Do Long and Le Ngoc Lam commented that Bao Ngoc is increasingly beautiful thanks to her confidence. "After working together many times, I am more impressed with the beauty queen's appearance and professionalism. Bao Ngoc's advantages are her long legs, bright smile, suitable for many types of clothes. Compared to before, the beauty's catwalk and posing in front of the camera have also improved," said Le Ngoc Lam.

Nearly a year into her tenure, Bao Ngoc was invited to be the Global Ambassador for the Earth Day 2022 campaign in Vietnam. In April, the beauty queen launched a series of green living inspiration programs called Earth Day Everyday by Bao Ngoc, directly to high schools and universities to spread the message of environmental protection. The beauty queen's full name is Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc, 22 years old, from Can Tho. She is currently a student at the International Faculty, Ho Chi Minh City National University. In August 2022, she won the first runner-up position at Miss World Vietnam held in Binh Dinh, was sent by the copyright holder to participate in Miss Intercontinental 2022 in Egypt after just one week and was crowned .
