The story is about the princess Thạch Anh of the Thiên Thạch Kingdom who was seriously ill. According to the Fairy, the king went to the Kingdom of Meo Meo of cats to find the lynx pearl - the treasure of the kingdom of cats, to cure the princess. When he found the pearl, instead of meeting the owner of the pearl to explain the situation, the urgency to save a life and negotiate to get the precious pearl, the king listened to the Prime Minister Thạch Sùng's words and sent someone to steal the pearl. Because of this wrongful action, the Kingdom of Meo Meo fell into chaos, separation, drowning all the joy and happiness of the whole kingdom.
In a fit of rage, the Meo King of the Meo Meo Kingdom cursed the Meteorite Kingdom: “Whoever lies will have a big nose.” This curse came true when Princess Thach Anh turned 16. That was also the time when the entire Meteorite Kingdom was gradually engulfed in lies because honest people without big noses would be imprisoned; from then on, people had to compete to lie and betray each other, and the life of the entire kingdom would be in chaos...
Princess Thạch Anh is a smart, pure, and kind girl. One day, while trying to learn and know a little about the lynx pearl, understanding the pain of losing the priceless treasure of the Meo Meo Kingdom, the little princess decided to leave the palace to find out the origin of the story about the pearl. On the journey to the Meo Meo Kingdom, Princess Thạch Anh unexpectedly met the Prince of the Meo Meo Kingdom, who was replacing his father to find the precious pearl for the kingdom...
The play Big Nose Princess and the Meo Meo Kingdom (photo) was elaborately staged, with colorful costumes and grand scenery; sound, light, smoke and water techniques were skillfully combined to enhance the stage performance, making the fairy tale more special and captivating to viewers.
Although it is a fairytale play with a strong entertainment element, the production team did not forget to incorporate into the story comedic situations or dramatic, tense situations between the characters to promote humanistic and humanitarian values, with higheducational value, helping viewers - young audiences and parents - feel the great meaning of sincerity, pure friendship, courage, kindness, beautiful actions of helping the disadvantaged, self-confidence and a strong spirit to overcome adversity...
