At the program, the Organizing Committee presented teaching equipment to Dai Lanh Primary School; learning tools and textbooks to 175 students from the following schools: Dai Lanh Primary School, Truong Dinh Nam Primary School and Dai Son Primary & Secondary School (each worth 500,000 VND).

This is a meaningful gift, showing the affection, responsibility and cooperation of SGGP Newspaper, SMBC Vietnam Prosperity Bank Finance Company Limited (FE CREDIT) and local authorities, to add confidence and motivation for the children to continue to strive on their learning path.

Speaking at the program, journalist Nguyen Hung, Head of SGGP Newspaper's Representative Office in the Central region, said that over 50 years of establishment and development, in addition to the task of information and propaganda, SGGP Newspaper always considers accompanying education and supporting children in difficult circumstances as the responsibility and sentiment of the collective of journalists.

“We hope that today's gifts will help students be more steadfast on their learning path; help them understand that society always cares, follows and believes in the bright future that they are striving to build every day,” journalist Nguyen Hung shared.

On behalf of the local government, Mr. Nguyen Huu Lan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thuong Duc Commune, said that the locality is located in the downstream of Vu Gia River, so in the recent natural disasters, Thuong Duc Commune has become the "flood center" of Da Nang City. Many areas in the commune were heavily flooded, causing damage of more than 130 billion VND; people's lives faced many difficulties, and students' education was still lacking.

“We would like to sincerely thank SGGP Newspaper and SMBC Vietnam Prosperity Bank Finance Company Limited (FE CREDIT) for their deep affection and concern for students in the area. Today's valuable gifts will be a great source of encouragement for teachers and students to overcome difficulties and do well in teaching and learning,” said Mr. Nguyen Huu Lan.

Ms. Ngo Thi My Xuan, Principal of Dai Lanh Primary School, sent her thanks to SGGP Newspaper for being the bridge, together with SMBC Vietnam Prosperity Bank Finance Company Limited (FE CREDIT) to give meaningful gifts to the students.
"I believe that this valuable encouragement will kindle the confidence to help students overcome difficulties and strive harder in their studies," Ms. Xuan believes.
