Storm No. 7 will weaken into a tropical depression

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, early in the morning of November 11, at 1:00 a.m. on November 11, the center of storm No. 7 was located at about 17.9 degrees North latitude; 112.1 degrees East longitude, in the western sea area of the North East Sea, about 130 km north of Hoang Sa. The strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 9 (75-88 km/h), gusting to level 11, moving southwest at a speed of 10-15 km/h.

At 1:00 a.m. on November 12, the center of storm No. 7 was at about 15.3 degrees North latitude; 109.8 degrees East longitude, in the sea of Quang Nam - Binh Dinh. The strongest wind near the center of the storm is level 7, gusting to level 9, moving southwest, about 15 km/h, weakening into a tropical depression. The dangerous area is at about 14.5-19.5 degrees North latitude; 108.5-113.5 degrees East longitude. The sea area west of the North East Sea (including Hoang Sa sea area), the sea area offshore from Thua Thien - Hue to Binh Dinh has a level 3 natural disaster risk.

At 1:00 a.m. on November 13, the eye of the storm was at about 14 degrees North latitude; 108.6 degrees East longitude, in the Gia Lai - Binh Dinh area. The strongest wind near the eye of the storm was below level 6, moving southwest, about 15 km/h, weakening into a low pressure area. The dangerous area was at about 14-16.5 degrees North latitude; 111.5 degrees East longitude. The sea area west of Hoang Sa, the sea area offshore from Thua Thien - Hue to Binh Dinh had a level 3 natural disaster risk.

The dangerous area is at about latitude 14.0-20.0 degrees North latitude; east of longitude 117.0 degrees East longitude. The sea area east of the North East Sea has a risk level 3.

At 1:00 a.m. on November 13, the center of the storm was at about 19.5 degrees North latitude; 116.4 degrees East longitude, in the sea area east of the North East Sea. The strongest wind near the center of the storm is level 10, gusting to level 12; moving northwest, speed about 15 km/h. The dangerous area is at about 16.5-21.5 degrees North latitude; east of 114.5 degrees East longitude. The sea area east of the North East Sea has a risk level 3.

From the next 72 to 120 hours, the storm will move in the West Northwest direction, then possibly change to the West Southwest direction, traveling 5-10 km per hour, and its intensity will continue to weaken.

At sea, on November 11, the sea area east of the North East Sea will gradually increase to level 6-7, then increase to level 8, near the storm center will be level 9-10, gusting to level 12, waves 3-5 m high, near the storm center 5-7 m; very rough seas. Ships operating in the above-mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by storms, whirlwinds, strong winds, and large waves.
